Yes, all tours offer alternative tasting options for vegetarians. Please make sure to advise us in advance during the ticket booking process so we can make arrangements prior to the start of the tour. We cannot make substitutions once the tour is under way. Our food tours are appropriate for vegetarians, but perhaps a bit difficult for vegans & gluten free. You can always call and ask us! Call us at 775-501-9293 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are happy to help.
Our culinary walking tours are designed so that at each stop we taste more food than just a tiny bite but less than a full meal. Our intention is that with our carefully crafted schedule of food and drink tastings, along with coordinated stops for architectural, cultural, and historical insight, most participants are comfortably full after our tours. We like to eat and know you do too… that’s why you picked Reno Food Tours! We make sure by the time you leave, you will have eaten the equivalent of a full meal.

No, pets are not allowed on the tour. The exception would be for a service animal only.
Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or rescheduled because your space is being guaranteed on the event. Our events often sell out. No partial credits or rescheduling is allowed for partial attendance, no shows, or late arrivals. It is your responsibility to show up at the right location, on time. The events commence promptly.
Of course! We welcome cameras and filming throughout the tour.
Yes-all guests must purchase a ticket whether they plan to partake in the food tastings or not. Non-paying individuals will not be able to join the tour for any reason(s). The ticket fees help cover the costs of all the food samplings and also to pay for your tour guide(s) wages, whom are offering valuable commentary on historical, architectural, cultural and restaurant information during our tours.
No, our tours do not finish at the same locations as the meeting point. Detailed instructions (with starting point) and guidance will be provided after ticket purchase via email. Most end points are within walking distance of the starting point.

The Downtown FoodTown Tour covers about 1.75 miles of easy walking on level ground. Tours generally last between 2 1/2 and 3 hours. We walk at a moderate pace and also provide at least two sit-down locations on all of our tours for at least 45 minutes total during the tour.
You don’t have to be a foodie to enjoy our tours, you just have to enjoy eating! Our food walks highlight the best the city has to offer, from quick counter eateries to high end haute cuisine.
We do not provide a wait list. If a date and time is sold out, we may add an additional tour on that day. Please email us to let us know what date you are interested in if you do not see availability.
Yes. There is parking near the starting point of the tour. More information will be provided upon ticket purchase.
We can provide substitutions for vegetarians and those who do not drink alcohol, but we cannot make substitutions for any other food allergies (such as gluten-free or dairy-free).
Substitutions must be requested in advance with your ticket purchase. All tastings have been prepared in advance at each location, based on the information your provided to us at the time of ticket purchase. Last minute dietary changes on tour will not be accommodated. This is a carefully choreographed food ballet!
We are sorry for the inconvenience. Our food tours have been designed to highlight the best and most distinctive foods from each establishment.
If you have serious food allergies please contact us or call us at 775-453-6635 before purchasing tickets for any of our food tours or events.
Yes! We operate in the rain, snow or shine. The food tastes great regardless of the weather. On very rare occasions, we will contact you if the tour needs to be cancelled due to severe weather forecasts.
